Future Ruins
Reimagine an iconic building as a ruin embedded in a strange new site. Setting and time will reconstruct the planar and sectional relationships by displacing the building from its original site. Adapt to and negotiate with the new context. Through the process of negotiating between 2D drawings and the 3D model to construct a precedent building, placing it on a given site in Downtown LA , and reimagine its story through a cinematic experience. Abedian school of architecture, the precedent was converted into a ruin, following the idea of swarm cities, generating a nostalgic atmosphere, and envisioning how Downtown LA in 2049 could it be.
